If you choose to use our Cloud Save feature, you will authenticate using a third-party provider (such as Google). Through this process, we collect and store:

• Your email address (provided by the OAuth provider).
• A unique User ID associated with your account.
• Your chosen in-game display name.

Note: We do not have access to, nor do we store, your passwords for these third-party services. Authentication is handled entirely by Google and our secure backend provider, Supabase.

B. Game Data

To provide the core functionality of the game, we automatically collect and store your game progress. This includes:

• Unlocked weapons and abilities.
• In-game currency (Coins) and Ability Points.
• Equipped gear, stats, and achievements.
• Custom control mappings and settings.

If you play as a "Guest," this data is stored locally on your device (via LocalStorage/IndexedDB). If you log in, this data is synced to our secure cloud database.

C. Automatically Collected Information (Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to monitor game performance and understand how players interact with Horde Break. Google Analytics automatically collects information such as:

• Device type, operating system, and browser type.
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level).
• In-game events (e.g., reaching a certain wave, choosing a specific upgrade, or completing a run).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect primarily to provide, maintain, and improve the game. Specifically, we use it to:

• Create and manage your Cloud Save account.
• Sync your game progress across devices.
• Analyze gameplay trends to balance weapons, enemies, and difficulty (via Analytics).
• Respond to player feedback submitted via in-game surveys.
• Prevent cheating, abuse, or unauthorized access to our database.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We respect your privacy and will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following situations:

• Service Providers: We share data with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and Google Analytics (for performance tracking). These services are bound by their own strict privacy policies.
• By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Horde Break relies on LocalStorage and IndexedDB (technologies similar to cookies) to save your game state locally on your browser. We also use cookies via Google Analytics to track user behavior. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, but doing so will prevent the game from saving your progress.

5. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures (facilitated by Supabase) to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

6. Children's Privacy

Horde Break is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that any data we have collected is from a child under age 13, please contact us using the information provided below, and we will delete such data from our servers.

7. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Because we only store minimal data (Email and Game Progress), you can exercise your right to deletion at any time by:

• Clearing your browser cache (if playing as a Guest).
• Contacting us directly to request the deletion of your Cloud Save account and associated email address.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date of this Privacy Policy and, when appropriate, via an in-game patch note.
